โ” How to Play

โ€ฆand, statistically, how to die.

Eliminated is a friendly party game for 2โ€“8 blobs, in the sense that you arrive with friends and leave with fewer. The Game Master runs a mystery gauntlet of beloved childhood games, each retrofitted with a body count. The goal is brutally simple: outlast everyone. Survive a game and you move on to the next; lose one and your blob is sealed into a tasteful pink-ribboned box while the crowd claps anyway. The last blob standing keeps the Marbles โ— and the bragging rights โ€” everyone else keeps the box.

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Getting Started (it's the last easy part)

  1. Pick a name and a blob on the home screen. Get attached. It's funnier that way.
  2. Host the Games and share the 4-letter code, or Join a friend's code and their poor decisions.
  3. The host sets the rules. Short on friends, or out of friends? Flip on bot-fill and the lobby packs with AI blobs who feel nothing.
  4. Host hits Start the Gauntlet and graciously hands control to the Game Master, who has never lost sleep.

๐Ÿ’€ Death Rules

Hardcore

Get eliminated and your blob is dead for the entire series โ€” you spectate the rest from the comfort of the afterlife. Last blob standing is crowned champion. No respawns, no take-backs, no HR.

Casual

Eliminations only cost you the round โ€” everyone respawns for the next game, briefly forgetting the horror. Rack up the most points across the gauntlet to win. The therapy bill is the same.

The number of games can be a fixed countโ€ฆ or a Mystery the Game Master refuses to disclose until it's far too late to back out. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Arenas

Every round is staged in one of 6 lovingly themed arenas, picked at random, because a little ambiance softens the carnage:

โœจ Powerups

The movement games scatter glowing orbs โ€” and every one is an identical, unmarked โ“ mystery. You won't know if it's a blessing or a curse until you grab it. Roughly half want you dead. Greed is a personality trait that gets blobs killed. Here's the full menu of what could be inside:

โšก Zoomies โœ…

Move way faster, briefly, like your will to live.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Bubble โœ…

Blocks one hit, freeze, or lava splash. Singular. Spend it wisely.

๐Ÿ”ป Shrink โœ…

Become a tiny, nimble, harder-to-murder blob.

๐Ÿ”ฆ Lantern โœ…

See in the dark. See exactly how doomed you are.

๐ŸŒ€ Bamboozled โš ๏ธ

Your controls are REVERSED. Sincerely, the management.

๐ŸŒ Molasses โš ๏ธ

Sluggish, syrupy, an easy target with extra steps.

๐ŸŽˆ Embiggen โš ๏ธ

Puff up huge โ€” a bigger, prouder target.

๐Ÿ’ซ Dizzy โš ๏ธ

Wibble-wobble. Your steering develops opinions of its own.

๐ŸŒ™ Night Mode & ๐Ÿ The Finale

Night Mode (a Hardcore extra) drops random rounds into total darkness, so you can fail to see what kills you. You navigate by flashlight; grab a ๐Ÿ”ฆ Lantern powerup to extend the view, and your suffering.

The last round is always a decisive finale โ€” a game that can crown a single survivor. Sometimes it's King of Lava Island (the floor turns to lava, the islands sink, last blob not-on-fire wins ๐ŸŒ‹), but it might just as easily be a one-blob-left brawl, a final jump-rope, a sudden-death Simon Says, or a rock-paper-scissors bracket. Whatever it is, exactly one blob walks away.

๐Ÿช™ Marbles & Bragging Rights

Survive rounds to earn Marbles โ— โ€” the only thing here that outlives the players. Win the series for a fat champion bonus and a shiny title to lord over the deceased. Spend your hoard on fancier blobs and accessories (it does not improve your odds, only the optics of your demise). Totals are saved and ranked forever on the Wall of Survivors.

๐Ÿ‘’ Dress to Die (Accessories)

Blow your Marbles โ— on cosmetics that ride over any blob โ€” bought in the lobby under โ€œDress your blob.โ€ You can wear one item per slot at once, so a hat, shades, a bandana and a little something behind the ear all stack into one magnificent ensemble that everyone sees in every game. It is purely decorative. You will look fantastic and die anyway.

๐ŸŽฉ Hats
  • Last Warm Thought โ€” 120 โ— ยท Cozy right up until the end.
  • Last At Bat โ€” 150 โ— ยท Three strikes. You know the rest.

โ˜ ๏ธ The Dead Pool (Hardcore betting)

Eliminated in Hardcore? Death is no longer a spectator sport. While the survivors fight it out, open the Dead Pool and wager the Marbles โ— you earned this run on who'll be the last blob standing โ€” so you keep earning from beyond the grave.

  • Odds scale with the field. Call the winner while five blobs remain and it pays 5ร—; hold out for the 1v1 final and it's even money. Bold early calls pay the most โ€” and risk the most.
  • Your horse can die. If your pick gets boxed up, you're warned to re-bet before the finale. Ignore it and your wager dies with them.
  • Settled at the crowning. Win and the payout lands on your series total; lose and the stake is gone. Either way, the leaderboard remembers.
  • It's Hardcore-only โ€” Casual blobs respawn, so there's no afterlife to bet from.

๐Ÿ‘ The Gallery (spectate & bet)

Don't feel like dying today? In the lobby, hit โ€œSpectate & bet insteadโ€ to sit the whole run out. You never take the field and you never get culled โ€” you just watch the little blobs suffer, and wager on the carnage from the comfort of The Gallery.

  • You bet your real bank. Unlike the Dead Pool's afterlife chips, spectators stake the Marbles โ— they've actually saved. Back the champion and pocket the winnings; back a loser and they're gone for good.
  • Open in both modes. Casual or Hardcore, the Gallery is always taking bets โ€” same field-scaling odds as the Dead Pool, settled the instant a champion is crowned.
  • You don't hold up the show. Spectators don't count toward starting a match โ€” a whole room of watchers can still kick off, as long as there are enough contestants (or bot-fill is on) to fight.
